1. Agreement to these Terms
Selora (“Selora”, “we”, “us”, “the Service”) is a unified API gateway operated by Orbital Systems that routes requests to frontier AI models — including the Claude, GPT, Kimi, GLM, and DeepSeek families — behind a single API key with scoped access and rolling-window budgets. These Terms of Service (“Terms”) are the binding agreement between you and Orbital Systems governing your use of selora.lol, the Selora console, the Selora API, the Selora CLI, and any related software, documentation, or services we operate (together, the “Service”). By creating an account, purchasing a plan, topping up a wallet, redeeming a code, or calling the API, you agree to these Terms, the Acceptable Use Policy, the Privacy Policy, and the Refund Policy, each of which forms part of these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
Selora is an intermediary gateway. We do not build, train, or host the underlying models. A model’s availability, behaviour, quality, context limits, and speed ultimately depend on its upstream provider, and model names on Selora may differ from the upstream provider’s naming. Models may be added, renamed, repriced, rerouted to a different upstream, or withdrawn — sometimes at the provider’s initiative and without advance warning to us. Where a removal is within our control, we give reasonable notice.
If you use the Service on behalf of a company or other entity, you represent that you are authorized to bind that entity, and “you” includes that entity.
2. Eligibility & accounts
You must be at least 16 years old — or the age of digital consent in your country, if higher — and able to form a binding contract. You may not use the Service if you are barred from receiving services under applicable law, including sanctions or export-control law.
You are responsible for safeguarding your account credentials and API keys, and for all activity under your account and keys, whether or not you authorized the specific request. API keys are secrets: keep them server-side, scope each key to only what it needs, and never embed them in browser JavaScript, mobile apps, public repositories, or shared notebooks. Rotate or revoke a compromised key immediately from the console. Usage incurred through a leaked key is your responsibility; we will help you investigate and can revoke the key at once, but charges for work already performed upstream on your behalf cannot be reversed.
One person, one account. Each person may hold a single Selora account, and each free trial is granted once per person. Creating additional accounts to obtain additional trial credit, exploit promotions or referral rewards, or evade a suspension or ban is a breach of these Terms — including accounts created through aliases of one email address. We treat email addresses that deliver to the same mailbox as one identity. Automated or scripted account creation is prohibited, and accounts we identify as machine-created may be suspended without notice.
Sharing, publishing, selling, lending, or transferring credentials — including account access and API keys — is prohibited. Each key is issued to one account holder for their own use. Reselling access to the Service, or embedding your keys in a product that lets third parties consume your plan, is a breach unless we have given you written permission.
3. Plans, rolling windows & the wallet
Selora sells memberships: each plan buys a 30-day window of access with defined usage budgets, not a bucket of prepaid inference credit. Current self-serve tiers are listed on the pricing page (Nova, Lunar, Orbit, Nebula, Cosmos, Supernova, plus time-limited promotional plans such as Pulsar when offered). The price shown at checkout is the price you are charged.
Each paid plan defines a 4-hour rolling window and a weekly rolling window of usage. Reaching a window cap throttles further requests until the window resets — you receive HTTP 429 with a reset time. Window exhaustion is a usage event, not a service failure, and is never a refund trigger; plan your agents accordingly (scope keys, set per-agent budgets). An active subscription is honored at its then-current rate through the paid period; price changes take effect on renewal with reasonable advance notice.
The wallet is for plan purchases only. Your Selora wallet holds a prepaid dollar balance that can be spent exclusively on buying plans (for yourself or as gifts) and never pays for inference directly — model usage consumes your plan’s window budgets, and when those are exhausted requests are refused (402) before reaching a model. The wallet is not a bank account, stored-value facility, or investment product: balances are non-transferable between users, earn no interest, and are redeemable only inside Selora.
Renewal. A plan grants a 30-day term of access. Every plan purchase — whether funded from wallet balance, a redeem code, or a card/regional rail such as Wayl — is a one-time purchase that expires at the end of the term and does not renew: we do not charge you again unless you make a new purchase. To keep uninterrupted access, top up and buy again before the term ends.
Nova free trial. The Nova trial requires verifying a Telegram handle with our bot and joining our Telegram channel; both are checked, and the trial cannot be activated until they pass. Trial usage is replenished toward the plan’s 4-hour allowance on a fixed schedule anchored to your activation time, capped per 7-day block, and never accumulates past the allowance. Replenishments pause while you are not a channel member and resume when you rejoin; the trial window itself keeps running. Trial credit has no monetary value, is non-refundable, expires with the trial, and is forfeited on a ban for breach. We may pause trial inference service-wide (for example under abuse or cost pressure) without affecting paid plans; a paused trial is not compensation-worthy.
Billing on interruption. Usage is metered on the tokens a model actually generates. If you close a connection or stop a stream mid-generation, you are charged for output generated up to that point — that work was performed and paid for upstream. Closing a connection is not a way to avoid being billed for work already done.
4. Payments, rails & the Refund Policy
We accept payment through the rails offered at checkout, which may include: card and wallet payments processed by Wayl (Iraqi cards, Super Qi, and ZainCash, settled in IQD at the rate displayed at checkout); cryptocurrency payments processed by NOWPayments; regional rails such as Platega; and redeem codes we issue.
A payment is credited when the relevant processor confirms it — on-chain confirmation for crypto, processor confirmation for card and regional rails. Minimum top-up amounts per rail are shown at checkout and may change with network conditions. On-chain transfers cannot be reversed by us or any processor: check the address, network, and amount before sending. Amounts sent below a rail’s minimum, on an unsupported network, or to a wrong address may be unrecoverable; we will make reasonable efforts to help but are not liable for user misdirected transfers.
No refunds as the standard rule. Purchases of plans and wallet top-ups are final. Because a plan grants immediate access to metered digital capacity and consumed digital services cannot be returned, all sales are final and non-refundable once the purchase is completed, except: (a) as expressly provided in the Refund Policy; (b) confirmed billing errors caused by our platform, which we correct in full; and (c) where a refund or withdrawal right cannot lawfully be excluded or waived under the consumer-protection law of your country of residence — in which case that mandatory right applies and nothing in these Terms limits it. Where digital-content law makes a withdrawal right conditional on immediate performance, you acknowledge that performance begins at once when access or wallet credit is delivered, and you request and consent to that immediate performance.
Fraud, chargebacks & disputes. Tell us about a billing problem before disputing with your bank or card issuer. An open chargeback or payment dispute pauses the account it concerns until resolved, because the same funds cannot be both disputed and spent. A chargeback made in bad faith — after consuming the purchased access, or contrary to a confirmed delivery — is a material breach: we may terminate the account, offset the disputed amount and reasonable recovery costs against any remaining wallet balance, and refuse future service. We contest abusive chargebacks with delivery and usage evidence. Buying with stolen payment methods, laundering through top-ups, or exploiting a rail’s settlement mechanics leads to immediate termination and referral to the processor and, where appropriate, authorities.
Redeem codes & gifts. Redeem codes and gift memberships are promotional instruments: they have no cash value, are non-refundable, non-transferable once redeemed, and may carry stated expiry dates or plan restrictions. Selling codes or gifts, or acquiring them from third parties, voids them. We may void codes obtained through fraud or error.
Referral rewards. Referral commissions are credited under the program rules shown in the console, are paid only on genuine referred purchases that were not refunded or charged back, and are forfeited if earned through self-referral, multi-accounting, or deception.
5. Acceptable use
Your use must comply with the Acceptable Use Policy, which forms part of these Terms and covers prohibited content and conduct (unlawful activity, harm to people, malicious code, deception, spam, unlawful surveillance, high-stakes decisions without human review) and platform abuse (evading rate limits, windows, or billing; reselling access; probing or attacking our infrastructure). You must also comply with the usage policies of the upstream providers whose models you call through the Service, to the extent they apply to your use. We may suspend or revoke access for violations, with or without notice, and may pass through upstream provider enforcement — including model access revocation — as necessary.
6. Intellectual property
Ours. Selora owns or controls all rights in the Service itself: the Selora name, logo and brand assets; the gateway software, routing and billing infrastructure, source and object code; the console, website design and copy; the Selora CLI; documentation; APIs and their specifications; and compilations of plan, pricing, and model-catalog data. These are protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual-property laws. We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to access and use the Service, and to call the API, solely as permitted by these Terms and your plan. Purchasing a plan, subscription, wallet credit, or any other access does not transfer any ownership of Selora’s intellectual property, and no implied licenses are granted.
You may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, lease, reverse engineer, or attempt to extract the source or design of the Service (except where such a restriction is prohibited by law); scrape the site or console at scale; frame or mirror the Service; remove or obscure proprietary notices; use our name, logo, or marks without written permission; or use the Service to build a competing gateway or benchmarking dataset published for competitive purposes.
Third-party models and components. The underlying AI models, their names and marks belong to their respective providers; open-source components used by the Service remain under their own licenses. Nothing in these Terms gives you rights in third-party models beyond what the relevant provider’s terms allow, and your use of a model through Selora remains subject to that provider’s acceptable-use rules.
Yours. You retain all rights to the prompts you submit and, as between you and Selora, to the completions you receive, to the extent the upstream provider’s terms grant them. You give us a limited license to process that content solely to route your request and return the response. We do not use your content to train, fine-tune, or evaluate models — ours or any provider’s — and we do not keep prompt or completion bodies after the response is delivered (see the Privacy Policy). You are responsible for your content and for having the rights to submit it.
Feedback. Suggestions, ideas, or feedback you send us about the Service may be used by us freely, without obligation or compensation to you.
7. Service availability & changes
We target high availability but do not warrant uninterrupted or error-free service. Maintenance windows, upstream provider outages or policy changes, network conditions, and force-majeure events may degrade or interrupt the Service. Live gateway status is published at /status. The sole remedy for availability issues is the service-credit mechanism in the Refund Policy, where offered. We may modify, suspend, or discontinue features, models, rails, or plan structures with reasonable notice where the change is material and within our control; an active paid term is honored as purchased, or, if a change makes that genuinely impossible, credited pro-rata at our discretion.
8. Disclaimers
The Service is provided “as is” and “as available”. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement, and any warranty that model output will be accurate, reliable, or suitable for any use. Model output is generated by third-party systems, may be wrong, biased, or offensive, and is not professional, medical, legal, or financial advice; you rely on it at your own risk and must apply human judgment to high-stakes uses, as the Acceptable Use Policy requires.
9. Limitation of liability & indemnity
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Selora, Orbital Systems, and their affiliates, officers, and suppliers are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages; lost profits, revenues, goodwill, data, or business interruption; or the cost of substitute services — arising out of or relating to the Service, even if advised of the possibility. Our aggregate liability for all claims relating to the Service in any period is limited to the amounts you actually paid us in the three months preceding the event giving rise to the claim, or USD 50 if you have paid nothing. Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited — including for fraud, willful misconduct, gross negligence, death or personal injury caused by negligence, or statutory consumer rights that apply to you.
You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Selora and Orbital Systems from third-party claims, damages, liabilities, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your content, your use of the Service in breach of these Terms, your violation of law or third-party rights, or any product you build on the Service.
10. Suspension & termination
You may stop using the Service and close your account at any time (see Cancellation). We may suspend or terminate access immediately for breach of these Terms, fraud or payment abuse, risk to the Service or other users, or legal requirement. On termination your API keys are revoked and your data is handled per the Privacy Policy. Unused trial credit is forfeited on termination for breach; paid wallet balances and active paid terms are handled under the Refund Policy — termination for your breach does not entitle you to a refund of unused access. Provisions that by their nature should survive termination (including intellectual property, disclaimers, limitation of liability, indemnity, and governing law) survive.
11. Governing law & disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which Orbital Systems is established, without regard to conflict-of-laws principles. Disputes will be resolved in the courts of that jurisdiction, except where the consumer-protection law of your country of residence gives you the right to bring proceedings in your local courts or under your local law — in which case those mandatory provisions apply. Before starting formal proceedings, both sides will attempt in good faith to resolve the dispute informally through the contact page for at least 30 days.
12. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. The “Last updated” date above marks the current version. For material changes we will give reasonable advance notice — by a notice in the console or to your account email — before the change takes effect, and the notice will state the effective date. Continued use of the Service after the effective date constitutes acceptance. If you do not accept the updated Terms, stop using the Service and close your account before the effective date; unused prepaid balances are handled under the Refund Policy.
13. Contact
Questions about these Terms: email [email protected] or use the contact page. For a payment dispute on a card or regional rail, the processor shown on your receipt can also help locate the charge.
14. General
These Terms, with the Acceptable Use Policy, Privacy Policy, Refund Policy, and Cancellation terms, are the entire agreement between you and Selora and supersede prior discussions. If any provision is held unenforceable, it is modified to the minimum extent necessary and the rest remains in force. Our not enforcing a provision is not a waiver. You may not assign these Terms without our consent; we may assign them in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets. Headings are for convenience only. These Terms are drafted in English, which controls over any translation.
