Cline

Cline is an open-source coding agent that runs inside VS Code as an extension. It ships an OpenAI Compatible provider, so you point it at the gateway with a base URL, your Selora key, and a model id.

Create an API key on the API Keys page and export it as $SELORA_API_KEY before continuing.

1

Install the extension

Install Cline from the VS Code Marketplace. It also runs in VS Code forks that use the Open VSX registry.

Install
code --install-extension saoudrizwan.claude-dev

In Cursor, Windsurf or another VS Code fork, install "Cline" from that editor's own extension panel instead.

2

Select the OpenAI Compatible provider

Open the Cline panel and click the gear icon to open settings. Set API Provider to OpenAI Compatible, then fill in the three fields that follow. The base URL is the part people get wrong: it is the gateway endpoint, not api.openai.com.

Cline settings
API Provider: OpenAI Compatible
Base URL: https://api.selora.lol/v1
API Key: sk-gw-...
Model ID: claude-sonnet-5

Click Verify after entering the values. "Invalid API Key" means the key was mistyped; "Model Not Found" means the Model ID does not match an id the gateway serves.

3

Check the model configuration

Cline keeps its own context-window and pricing metadata per model. Left at the defaults it may under-report the window, so set them to match the gateway.

Model configuration
Context Window: 200000
Max Output Tokens: 16384
Input Price (/1M): $3.00
Output Price (/1M): $15.00

These are the figures for claude-sonnet-5. Read the real numbers off the model catalog on this page for whichever model you pick.
